Mount Fuji is actually fairly far from Tokyo. It's approximately
134.1km away according to Google but even though it seems very far
away, you can still see it from various parts of Tokyo,
particularly if you're standing on an observation deck. There
are many wonderful places you can see Mount Fuji from, including
beaches, lakes, observation decks, skyscrapers, hiking trails, from
the train, near pagodas and so forth... [br][br]I think that it's
hard to really explain the sheer size of any mountain or volcano to
someone especially if they've never encountered one in their lives,
but to put it into perspective, Mount Fuji still looks big from
134km away, meaning once you get to it, the size is colossal. I
mean, it's over 3,376 meters high, now that's tall! There are no
skyscraper as tall as mount fuji![br]
