I think the best anime this season is the one with the strangest title and no, it's not Banana Fish. That time I got reincarnated as a slime is surprisingly good despite it being the shameful isekai genre that almost everyone is tired of.

First, what is isekai? It means another world, like somoene gets teleported to an alternate reality. Sword Art Online, Konosuba, and so on are all isekai.

This anime is basically that, the MC lives an average boring life and gets stabbed, gets reincarnated as a slime in a RPG type of midevial world. But he has all his memories and has god-like powers kind of like one punch man.

The story is okay, it's not overly complex but it is enjoyable. Essentially without spoiling anything, he earns the respect of different tribes and grows an army while there are villains in the mix. It's very comical and the kind of anime you can just sit and watch and not feel stressed.

To me it's my favorite this season despite having been following a few different series. If you haven't started it, you should!
