I'm a big fan of Mushoku Tensei but this season felt very depressing and lackluster compared to previous seasons. It's good but didn't live up to previous seasons I think. But it makes sense, it's kind of in-between stages and nothing very climactic is going to happen this season so it's just character building. But, I really don't care about the MC having a bad case of E.D. I would rather see story progression instead of dialogues that don't really lead to much. The second half of the season picked up a little but it just felt like an OK watch unfortunately. The visuals are still top-notch though.
