Dr. Gorou Amamiya, an obstetrician-gynecologist, becomes entangled in an extraordinary circumstance. Tasked with delivering the children of his admired pop idol, Ai Hoshino, he finds himself murdered by an obsessive fan the same night. Mysteriously reincarnated as Ai's son, Aquamarine Hoshino (Aqua), Gorou retains memories of his past life.
His fraternal twin, Ruby Hoshino, is also revealed to be a reincarnation of one of Gorou's patients who was a fan of Ai. The twist grows darker when Ai is murdered by the same obsessive fan. Aqua's lingering memories push him to seek revenge, vowing to infiltrate the entertainment industry to find and kill his father, whom he suspects to be an accomplice.
Twelve years later, the story follows Aqua and Ruby as high school students, adopted by the owners of Ai's talent agency. Ruby pursues her dream of becoming an idol, forming "B-Komachi" with actress Kana Arima and YouTuber Mem-cho. Aqua returns to acting, building friendships to help him locate his father.
As the siblings build their careers, they become increasingly manipulative, embroiled in their personal grudges. Ruby uncovers the corpse of Gorou, learning about the true culprit behind Ai's murder. Aqua learns that his co-star shares the same father, and that he may be Hikaru Kamiki, an actor who's still alive. The twisted path leads them to lose trust in each other.
The season climaxes with Aqua's creation of a screenplay for a film based on Ai's life, titled "15 Years of Lies," with Ruby landing the starring role. They also uncover each other's true reincarnation, setting up a dramatic and intense conflict.
