As-if things weren't bad enough as we've just reported
1,637 people were taken to the hospital to be treated from heat stroke in just a few days span; Japan also faces another crazy temperature-related news as Hokkaido, a record breaking 37.8ºC temperature soured on top of the charts, breaking a 90-year-old record. Some of you might wonder, "37.8ºC happens where I live every summer, it's nothing new!" well, Hokkaido is actually much higher than Tokyo and as a result it's considered the "cold region" of Japan so to them, it's very unusual. While those whom work in a mine would imagine this to be a "cool" temperature, for the rest of us it's unbearably hot and very dangerous for the elderly. At this point, should we consider the Sun as a public enemy? Anyway, we'd like to thank Willis Carrier for inventing the Air Conditioner.
