It's weird, isn't it? Everything goes fine in your life and you think that even a project like Jappleng could release without a hitch for the first week of December but then for the past few weeks you end up in a depression worrying about whether or not you have Cancer and don't push any updates.Well, the doctor called me today and they said that they won't have any news until at least Monday, but on Tuesday I'm leaving for the Philippines. Sadly that's the case because hospitals apparently sleep during Thanksgiving, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.I honestly don't know what to do, they say not to go to the Philippines but I quit work so paying out of pocket may end up being $300,000 for treatment if I do have it and this is all happening in the middle of immigration. If I ask the government for help, my wife can no longer come to the states. If I default because I have no money to pay the bills, my wife can no longer come tot he states and I can't go there. If I do nothing, I die. We're doing the best we can and trying to figure out the best scenario but it doesn't look good. I don't really know what to do about my projects. I have a game that I've been working on for a while with a pretty decent sized staff that will soon be on kickstarter for further funding, and Jappleng is almost done but I am too bummed out to work on it right now.I know, almost no one will read this because I hadn't launched the site yet but I suppose if things do go wrong, people will know why I couldn't complete the site. But if I can complete the site, it would be free to use, and a really fun place to be. I never thought about commercializing this unless it came down to it for survival but then again, my own survival might require to sell what I have for treatment. I'm sorry, I really wish that there's nothing wrong with me, they are doing one final test to confirm that it's either positive or negative but from just looking at the sample, they think it is positive for melanoma.
Once again, this page is from a old section called News in Japan which hasn't been a thing since about 2016. But Jappleng has a lot more to offer such as:
