*sigh* How do I begin without making this news post sound so... Strange? Ah, let's forget about that and just say it how it is. South Park released a new episode last night entitled Tweek x Craig and as many of you anime and manga fans out there would know, x denotes a relationship between the two. Wendy goes through the amusing description of Seme (top) and Uke (bottom). In the beginning of the season, South Park has become rather over the top PC and the South Park elementary school has a new principal called PC Principal. Because South Park became PC and seemed very accepting to just about anything, different groups of people were moving into town. The Asian girls, more notably the Japanese girls with great imagination started creating fanfics of Tweek and Craig two of these stories were called "Tweek and Craig, Forbidden Love" and "Boys Love". This quickly spread rumors and PC Principal asked both Tweek and Craig to understand that their love is totally acceptable even though they're not gay.
As the story progresses Randy starts to believe that the Japanese are the ones who decide who's gay and who isn't and hilarity is ensured. Generally there's a lesson to be learned for each episode but this time around it seemed to just be pure silliness.Trivia: Trey Parker (creator of South Park) is a well known Japanophile and loves to incorporate Japanese in South Park episodes. You can catch new episodes of South Park on Wednesdays on Comedy Central and on Hulu.
