Believe it or not, there\'s a few members whom have been sticking around since the dawn of Jappleng. These members have been around through Jappleng\'s Golden Age and have even traded many apples on the silk road. Today we highlight one of those members and her name is Michelle.
Michelle is member #10 and I am #4 (we skipped a few numbers) and members between me and her are reserved names and 2 members who no longer visit the site. This makes her member #4.
Michelle may have only written 1 article(
FRUiTS Fashion Interview) she had been editing dozens of articles since she\'s been here. Her dream was to become a journalist for Jappleng when we first worked together, but without funding it couldn\'t be possible.
Michelle used to frequent Jappleng every day and had made this place her very home. Every time she had the opportunity, she would tell everyone she could to come to Jappleng because that\'s how much she believed in this project. She was promoted to a Global Moderator (GM) early-on and quickly became one of the most prominent figures around the community.
We had not spoken for many years but we had reunited and she is more than thrilled about Jappleng than ever. Today is her first time and first day in Japan for the next week after dreaming of going for more than a decade. When she returns, she says she will be a regular to the site once again and will do what she can to help.
For that we say, thank you Michelle! Life was very difficult for you for this past decade but now you are seeing the result of your hard work, by visiting Japan and perhaps soon working there and we will support you every bit of the way just as you did with this project.
Everyone, please give cheers to our former and perhaps new? Senior Editor, GM, and dedicated member! That way, when she comes back, she\'ll see this like a welcome back card. =D
