After first coming up with the idea in November 2005 and starting development on the Jappleng Blog in December 2006, it became evident what was needed for this community and it took 11-years to realize that potential by having to study and hone my skills in the industry to be capable of creating the next generation edusocialtainment* platform for the Japanese-centric community.
*No that\'s not a word, yet. :DJappleng is unique to everything that it does and it took these past 3 years of dedicated attention to build and rebuild the site just well enough to make what you see happen. All code was developed from scratch and without it, Jappleng couldn\'t have been made possible.
Early Members are Old?Our early members whom were only in their teens are likely in their late 20s and early 30s by now which shows the age of this project but for the new generation, welcome to Jappleng! In one week, just one week -- Jappleng will be ready to conquer the world! -- err -- I mean leave an impression on this kind world >: 3
Release Date!Prepare yourselves, June 1 will be the completion and release of Jappleng. Everyone is invited to join this festive moment and while we do not have a party date (yet) June 1 will be the first day of its completion.
Beyond June 1, we will plan for a release party which will have fun giveaways, and we will also begin releasing new content, and gradually releasing new features as time goes by.
