Every day there has been updates but all of a sudden, no updates? Well, I have mentioned this on my J-Spot and in the Development Blog forums, but not everyone looks at them since every new post is about 3 views or so. Let me explain what's going on...Ignoring my day off yesterday to take care of my cat (had to see a dental specialist) I've been hard at work every day on developing the Next Evolution of Jappleng. You may ask yourself "why?" and the answer is simple. I now know the purpose of Jappleng and how it can greatly benefit everyone but in order to have all that happen I need to rework the foundation a bit. Now if you've been following Jappleng for a while you might be a little upset thinking "GREAT! NOW when will this stupid "next evolution" be done?"To be honest, the first revision should be available by the end of Friday May 6, and the complete release will be released on the 1-year beta anniversary on May 14.It's not too far away and this basically means Jappleng will be done and ready. I won't go into detail about the changes but here's a few things to look forward to:- Entire new layout design; fresh, clean, and easy to use even on phones.- Good-bye top menu that follows you around, that is gone and no longer needed.- Total website restructuring; this will make it much easier to understand where you need to go and how to get from point A to point B- Completion of J-World Market, Settings, J-Spot, and all other sections that need to be completed for this version (Club Jappleng and blogs are to be released next month)- New sections will be added, some sections will be consolidated into one- Seamless J-Spot/J-World integration around the site, it'll be very interactive and fun!- All lessons will be revised, new lessons will be added- Many new editorials will be added- Lots of other new features!There's a lot happening and I'm pleased to announce that Alice will now be helping with editorials beginning today. She'll be writing editorials for the news section, culture, travel, and pretty much anything that needs to be written.I hope this excites all of you! I'd love to be able to show you what all of this will look like in the end but I'm keeping a secret, and also with these updates there are many other secrets within them so stay tuned and enjoy whatever is left of this version of Jappleng because by the 14th, Jappleng will NOT be the same but rather have evolved into quite possibly the greatest thing in this field.
