On Friday April 15, Jappleng will be ready for prime-time as its core features will be complete by then. What will happen between now and then and what happens afterwards? Let's take a look...April 11 - 15During this period, J-Spot! will be completed, the final bug fixes will be made to the Chat, and additional features will be made to Jappleng to make it ready for its release on April 1st. The new J-World Market will be made available (a place to redeem your hard earned J-Points and A-Points for cool prizes!) and the user settings page will also be complete.Friday, April 15Friday will be the day when Jappleng releases and is ready for prime-time! What does this mean exactly? It means that all of its core features are complete and we're ready to move on to the next stage! Everyone who's already registered will have a very unique item or two in their inventory that can only be obtained by being a member by April 15. It will be incredibly rare and will be worth a pretty J-Point sum when the public J-World Market becomes available.April 18 - 22New content arrives, more bugs are patched, and new features are added to the core of Jappleng. This means new lessons, news items, travel guides, cultural editorials and more! New features will include new ways to invite people to join Jappleng and J-Spot! subscription modes to posts.April 25 - 29Various features that were previously available without having to unlock them using J-Points will be locked during this period and users will only be able to unlock them using special inventory items. We will be giving out 1000 bonus J-Points during this time to everyone as a "thank you!" for testing those features. This week will also receive new content, J-Spot! polls will be introduced (you will be able to create polls on your feed), and interactive quizzes will be added to lessons.May 2Development on Club Jappleng and J-Blogs will begin!Beyond May 2...Club Jappleng and J-Blogs will take some time to develop. However upon completing both of them, we'll be able to implement a significant amount of new features including J-World which will be a social network portal that assists members find new content around the site! It'll be unique and interesting!Once this is all done, we'll be able to continue on with the new site design which will correctly support themes. J-Spot! already does, and each J-Spot! will be given their own ability to change themes! This isn't strictly restricted to J-Spot but also Clubs, J-Blogs and any other thing that is specific to the member There will be a lot of neat customization, badges, titles, and more (many of which are already available!). Beyond the Social Network Apps....Coming around summer, we will begin development on a mobile-friend edition of Jappleng and introduce a number of new features including teacher generated lessons and classrooms!
