I'm curious to know what the price is like around the world.
No need to state where you're from, maybe country or state/province
if you feel comfortable but prices here in the US are all over the
place, illogically so. Where I live specifically, it's usually one
of the last places where we see prices go up, unlike those living
in California or NY for example which sees it first.
The price of Beef Jerky (small) starts at $8-10 per pack but
before it was around $3-4. Toilet paper is $15 for 18 rolls, which
used to be $8 or so.
Eating out at McDonalds or anywhere else will set you back
around $12 per person, more if you plan on getting the more premium
items.
Electricity has effectively almost doubled, at this rate it
would be better to go solar which you would see your investment pay
off within 5 years insted of 10 due to the crazy price increase in
electricity.
Almost everything has doubled in price here and based off of
what politicians are saying between the lines, the inflation has
increased by about 20-30% this year alone. Last year it had already
increased by about 30%.
I bought a dehydrator and started to dehydrate my own stuff
and things that will expire soon. I'm pretty far into my garden
work as well so I should be self sufficient for veggies and flowers
(for tea and herbal stuff!) with hopefully enough supply to get
through the next season once everything can be harvested. I make my
own bread now too. We will be living like in the great recession
most probably by next year, everything is being purposefully
destroyed so we have nothing. I won't go into politics and explain
it all but people will starve and it's already happening.
Everyone I know is fed up with this illegitimate admin and
worried about the things to come. It will get worse, be sure to be
prepared when it does. The cost of poultry for example is going to
go through the roof even more very soon.
