If this were a full-fledge game that you could play on android, I wouldn't think much of it and go cell shading. But for web, there's no animations so it is what it is. The latest iteration of slime is nice but it's also not cute. Do I just render them in 3D? Do I make the characters halfbreeds like part human, part monster? It's a tough decision.

I was thinking of keeping it simple instead of going all out with the art. I can vector yokai pretty quick on my ipad but anything more requires a lot of commitment.

Anyone want to drop some drawings here that they think would look like a nice style for the yokai? I'm probably thinking too hard on this.
