I have reached the end of implementing the main features of
the site, everything else is secondary. While there will always be
updates to the functionality of site such as adding new features,
fixing bugs and adding new sections; Jappleng doesn't need any of
that yet. What it needs is an active community!
This is where the Get Together Bash
comes in!
On Saturday, February 20 (UPDATED! SEE POST BELOW) we
will be hosting a Get together bash inviting almost 12,000 members
back to the site! Hopefully this will remind our members that we
are alive and ready to move forward! Here's the details...
Where is it?
Anywhere on Jappleng! Post, mingle, say hi in the forums,
clubs, J-Spot but the main event is happening on the Jappleng Chat.
You can locate the chat at the top of the site where it says
"Chat". We'll be in the general chat.
When is it?
All day starting [b]Saturday February 20 (UPDATED DUE TO
E-MAIL RESTRICTIONS, SEE POST BELOW)[/b]. Midnight to midnight!
This should cover all timezones. Expect Midnight to begin in
Eastern Standard Time BUT feel free to come by earlier and stay
later!
Anything else?
There will be Prizes to give away and a reward only available
to those participating on that day. Bonus J-Coins, XP and Event
rewards will be QUADRUPLED on that day too!
Is Jappleng still
free?
Yes, everything about Jappleng is free to use! I won't sell
your private info either, it's sort of a hobby not-for-profit
project. So don't worry, it's all good. No ads, nothing!
Without a community Jappleng will simply die off and we don't
want that. It can be really fun and beneficial for people so please
consider taking part of Jappleng before, during and after this
event! This is meant to help spread awareness and entice people to
learn together and be friends!
