I don't know, it feels just more personal to use forums than social media. I feel like social media is all about self-gratification instead of having meaningful discussions. I take part of many different fan forums. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Makes sense. I've come here from a link on a Kingdom Hearts forum and it used to be very popular and now very few people post there. Forums are better and it lets people get involved like if someone asks a question then another person can answer and another can follow up etc...
