I reluctantly started to watch the seven deadly sins thinking that it wasn't going to be that good. I say this because the cover looked like it was intended for kids not knowing that this was going to be similar to Fairy Tail and Magi: Labyrinth of Magic. As a huge fan of Magi, this was a no-brainer for me.

I watched the first episode thinking I had nothing to lose but it turned out quite good despite it's lewdness. Simply put, you have two factions, the Seven Deadly Sins and the Holy Knights. Both are at war with each other and you follow the story of the Seven Deadly Sins.

As the story progresses you learn more about both factions and the twists and turns that it takes. It's not heavy in story like seinen but it's an enjoyable adventure that is easy to watch given you're find with the occasional lewd moment like what you would expect from Fairy Tail.

I'm not sure what else to say but a lot of people kept talking about it and how great it is. As I'm approaching episode 20, I yearn for more and thankfully there are more episodes.

It's both well said and well written.I've been wondering what got many into the Seven Deadly Sins anime and got me curious to see what was the fuzz all about this year. Due to receiving the second season.So yeah, not to go too much details, i do find it pretty enjoyable and worth to watch, especially when Ban and Gowther became two of my favourite characters in the show and my favourite sins. ^^

And escanor, too. ^^ (I just forgot to mention it XO.)

Hehe yeah, I liked the first season but I couldn't really get into the second season. The moment they started talking about power levels or whatever it started to get dull for me. The overall feel felt different and not very interesting even a few episodes in. If I were to explain it, it felt like they were more or less trying to play with something more experimental and for a very particular target group which I don't fit in.

So, Season 1 was great but Season 2 wasn't for me :(

Yeah. The second season wasn't really as good as the first season, especially with the direction it went. When i heard that the movie has just been announced to be in production, i wonder what the movie will end up to be?

Maybe a certain pair will become a couple, get married, have children and... oh wait, how can that even work between a giant and a dwarf? :thinking:

i myself just watched the Seven Deadly Sins about 2 months ago and i too have been passing it by for months thinking it wouldnt be good, but i'm running out of things to watch and though "hey why not, if i still don't like it after a couple episodes i'll stop"...i got hooked XD of course Meliodas' lewdness was weird but i've seen many animes like that, and it does have a Fairy Tail feel to it which Fairy Tail is one of my most favorite animes lol. so that helped. I'm now impatiently waiting for more episodes. And it wasn't until half way through the anime that i realized that one of my most favorite Seiyuus voiced Gilthunder and i almost completely missed it! XD
