For Mark: Thanks. ^^ I will definitely look forward to some new features and also enjoy. ^^For wanwanwan: That's a really good question. It's kinda hard to explain what i love about Japan, right now. I find Japan to be a beautiful and fun place to be. Beautitul mountains, awesome cities, amazing people ranging from awesome to beautiful to cute to, well, any person, many of the conventions and festivals, the music genres, animes (and all kinds of them, mind you) and all of it's creativity. <3Is it a perfect country? Not even close, but i still find Japan to be much cooler and awesome country than my own country, Portugal, in my opinion (It's not that i hate my country, it's just that it's way too traditional to me to enjoy my own.)

Glad to hear that you have a realistic grasp about Japan and can still see the beauty beyond its faults!  I know the fourms are a bit uhm.. a work in progress but I hope it will not discourage you or others from coming. Hi everyone.Please call me Dee. I just joined jappleng a few hours ago.The main reason I want to learn Japanese is to get myself to study abroad, and one of my choices of country is Japan. Just as a head start I want to prepare myself for that. Hopefully this community could help a beginner like myself. Plus, I do enjoy watching anime too. Thank you for taking your time to read.
