Summoning is a process that occurs at the end of an incubation. It requires both time and energy to incubate and the quality of the Yokai summoned is determined by the following:
Tentatively named Spirit Eggs, they are the origin for how Yokai are born into the world. They require four conditions.
Condition 1: Incubator
Condition 2: Spirit Egg
Condition 3: Energy
Condition 4: Time
* Optionally a catalyst may be used but isn't required.
When a spirit egg is placed inside an incubator, energy is required to incubate. After enough energy is provided the player must wait until the incubation period ends. The rarer the spirit, the longer it can take.
Kami summoning isn't a confirmed feature at this time, although it would utilize very specific rare item combinations and Magatama which would be provided by the villagers through worship at shrines. However, this feature may instead be combined with Spirit Eggs using catalysts. "Kami are quite difficult to draw and it's what's holding me back from developing this." - OG Jappleng
Incubators are needed as a means to incubate the spirit essence
Catalysts are special relics that are found or purchased to help summon higher grade or specific Yokai. Catalysts are not required for regular summoning.
Presently it's not possible to summon Yokai because there are no public test builds that support this. This part of the wiki has been added but not yet used, please wait until it is possible to summon Yokai.
Development is too soon for this portion of the wiki to be made available. Please return at a later time when it is possible or close to possible to obtain rare items and Yokai.
