Production Release
Production releases will be a combination of the modular
releases together with the Jappleng system. This is the development
build that will lead to the beta and then ultimately the

Missing items functionality, status ailments system, enemy magic
and post-battle screen.
The combat system currently
supports Player, Enemy, theoretically Player party and Enemy Party.
Hit Points (HP), Magic Points (MP), many different stats such as
Physical ATK, Magical ATK, Physical Defense, Magical Defense,
Agility etc… Critical hits are also considered based on player or
enemy critical hit rate level, turns are determined by speed or
chance encounter (ie: pre-emptive) and player based magic is
supported for attacks and healing. The UI system is functional for
Main, player and enemy information, Attack, Jumon (Magic) and
Items. Rounds are counted at the completion of a full turn. Player
win/lose is implemented. Various animations are given for both the
player and the enemy. Hit point damage / heal is located on top of
either the player or the enemy as it happens. Multi-language
support added for English, Japanese, French. Player and enemy has
their own given element where they may be stronger or weaker like
fire is weak against water.

LEGACY RELEASES
Legacy releases were rapid development builds (conceptual) using
the previous iteration of Yokai Trainers. The proof of concept was
made and it was functional. Moving forward, the game will be
rebuilt and built correctly.
